How do I purchase a clip?
We require 3 things to make a purchase:
1. Description of use
2. Signed contract & initialed terms
3. Credit card or Wire Transfer payment
How do I find the resolution of a video clip?
The resolution of the footage can be found below either of the clip preview videos under "Format." Also included is the camera format, the native codec, the native resolution and frame rate(s). Note: although our price calculator shows the costs for multiple resolutions, that doesn't necessarily mean your clip is available at that resolution.
What information do you need from me for the contract?
We require the following information for your contract:
1. Your name and company name
2. Project name
3. Which clip(s) you would like to purchase
4. The USE of the clip (web, TV ad, entertainment, film etc )
5. The TERRITORY (regional, national or worldwide)
6. The TERM (2 years, 4 years, in-perpetuity etc)
How are my clips delivered?
Your clips are delivered online via FTP download
What forms of payment do you accept?
1. Credit card: Visa, MasterCard and American Express
2. Wire transfer
3. Invoice (to repeat U.S. customers)
What is the turn around time for receiving a clip?
Most deliveries happen within a couple hours. Once we have all the necessary paper work and the payment method has been arranged, we can deliver your clip immediately.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM PST
How do I find out the price of a clip?
1. There is a price calculator located under each (make selections from drop-down boxes)

Do you offer a test clip so I can test the quality?
Yes, we offer a free clip on the homepage for sampling. All of our footage is guaranteed to key or your money back.
Can I request a refund?
You can request a 50% refund on your footage up to (10) days after purchase. We encourage customers to test the composition before purchase by using the downloadable preview clips available on our website, or requesting a higher resolution comp clip.
If there is a problem with the key, please inform us as soon as possible and provide a sample of the composition. If we deem the clip is unable to be keyed, we will provide a full refund for the clip up to 10 days after purchase.
Do you offer free comps?
Yes, free lower resolution comps are offered for each clip. Just click the flash video to reveal your larger QuickTime preview video and the free comp is located to the right.
I can’t find a clip that will work in my project. Are there other options?
Yes, visit our ‘screeners’ page, where you can find watermarked videos that display all the footage shot of each animal ( www.greenscreenanimals.com/screeners ).
Does GreenScreen Animals offer custom shoots?
Yes, we are a one-stop-shop for all your animal production needs. Using GSA you will save money, time, and hassle. We have relationships with top trainers, stages, and American Humane. This allows us to offer you a more affordable rate on shoots. We cover everything from staffing to insurance and payroll.
Can I purchase clips directly from the website?
No, unfortunately our website is not set up for on-line purchasing but our staff is friendly and efficient.
Is all your footage priced the same?
No, we currently have two pricing structures. Many of our smaller animals (chickens, ducks, etc.) are provided at a lower rate than our our larger mammals (bears, lions, etc.).
Do you offer bulk discount pricing?
Yes, we do offer bulk discounts pricing. Contact us for details.
Why do some green clips have a moving circle around them?
The green circle is called a "garbage matte" and is used to remove people and objects from the shot.
What is the delivered format of your footage?
We can deliver any format that works best for your project at no extra fee. Unless specified it will be Apple ProRes 422 HQ or Apple ProRes 4444.
What format did you use for the acquisition?
The resolution in our library ranges from 720P to 6K. We primarily shoot on the RED camera.
Am I able to instantly download my footage from the website?
We do not offer instant downloads from out website, however our helpful staff is available via phone or email to handle your request. The process is simple and your footage is delivered same day.
